Creative e-newsletters for holiday bookings

Nicola proactively researches and writes five regular e-newsletters for a well-known holiday company promoting self-catering in UK and France. They all yield excellent open and click-through results. For a further e-newsletter, written specifically for the holiday industry in UK and Europe, she researches the complex issues herself and then writes the text. This work continues in 2011.

PR delivers sales

Editorial is read, believed and acted on. Nicola’s thoughtful, cost-effective media relations and sales promotion work for a group of holiday parks has led directly to enquiries, visits and sales of luxury lodges in 2010 and she’s delivering more results like this in 2011.

A BBC breakthrough

Nicola’s understanding of media paid dividends when BBC TV’s Countryfile programme accepted her story on behalf of a client based in rural Yorkshire. The package was broadcast in July 2010 with a follow-up promised later.

Second restoration appeal for Selby Abbey

Nicola headed the media relations campaign to keep Selby Abbey’s Millennium Appeal in the public eye.  The appeal reached its target of £4.5 million early. In 2011 Nicola begins a low-cost press relations campaign to raise a further £250,000 for a new organ.
