Creative e-newsletters for holiday bookings throughout 2010
Nicola proactively researches and writes five regular e-newsletters for a well-known holiday company promoting self-catering in UK and France. They all yield excellent open and click-through results. For a further two e-newsletters, written specifically for the holiday industry, she researches the complex issues herself and then writes the text.
Second restoration appeal for Selby Abbey
Nicola headed the media relations campaign to keep Selby Abbey’s Millennium Appeal in the public eye. The appeal reached its target of £4.5 million early. In 2010 Nicola begins a low-cost press relations campaign to raise a further £250,000 for a new organ.
PR drives footfall to residential retirement parks - spring to autumn 2009
A large residential retirement park operator, with over 20 parks UK-wide, engaged Nicola to promote each park’s open weekends throughout 2009. Despite the downturn in the housing sector, an average of 80+ visitors attended each event.
Brand recognition for a holiday home manufacturer
Nicola created a three-month press relations campaign (finishing in autumn 2009) to begin a conversation between a manufacturer of holiday homes and potential trade customers. Her goal was to gain maximum “share of voice” in the industry media. Nicola exceeded all targets.
